Simulation is an effective method to verify new combat concepts,assess equipment performance,and improve training effectiveness.In order to improve the training level of troops using combat simulation,based on the context of combat-oriented training,the essence of combat simulation technology is analyzed,and the key technologies involved in combat simulation are identified.Considering the current level of scientific and technological development,the future development trends of combat simulation are speculated.Thoughts and suggestions on advancing combat simulation technology for training are given from four perspectives:establishing a realism-oriented training concept,emphasizing a systematic overall plan,improving support and infrastructure,and adapting innovative training models.
