National defense innovation capability of high-tech small businesses:Revelations from the SBIR/STTR program of U.S.Department of Defense
High-tech small businesses have a strong spirit of innovation and entrepreneurial vitality,and play an important role in the national economy and national innovation.How to tap the potential of small businesses to join the army,accelerate the promotion of military capabilities and promote national economic growth is aualyzed.The typical practices and operation process of the U.S.Department of Defense to promote the participation of small businesses in the army are analyzed,and reference suggestions to guide the innovation of small businesses are provided.The U.S.military invests small businesses with small funds to participate in defense science and technology innovation and defense technology transfer,and obtains higher military benefits;While small businesses have strengthened their scientific and technological competitiveness,they have also obtained higher profit returns,and the state has also received high taxes from it.
