Investments in the U.S.military Joint All-Domain Command and Control
An in-depth exploration of the conceptual underpinnings,ongoing work,and future development trajectories of the U.S.Joint All-Domain Command and Control(JADC2)is provided.Drawing on the FY 2024 budget request of the U.S.Department of Defense and the reports by Govini,the accounting methodology for the JADC2 expenditure is elucidated,and the U.S.financial investments in JADC2 are analyzed.Furthermore,market conditions are scrutinized and the challenges presently confronting JADC2 in the United States are highlighted.In the face of an ever-evolving global security environment and local wars and conflicts occurring from time to time,the capacity to gather,analyze,and disseminate information to maintain a decision-making advantage is becoming increasingly pivotal in determining the outcome of warfare.The U.S.Department of Defense has introduced the JADC2 strategy.This endeavour seeks to establish a robust and secure network capable of interlinking different departments in battlefields,thereby facilitating comprehensive and real-time information exchange across all theatres.
