Analysis of Production and Operation of Tenaris and Vallourec in 2023 and First Half of 2024
Analyzed here in the paper are the production and operation statuses of the two steel tube groups,Tenaris and Vallourec in 2023 and the first half of 2024,involving such aspects as steel tube sales volume,profitability,market distribution,assets and liabilities and debt-paying ability,etc.It is regarded via the analysis that both Tenaris Group and Vallourec Group had achieved good business performances in 2023,mainly owing to the significant increases of the market demand and the price,and the continuous important support by the North American market.Tenaris Group's multiple rele-vant indicators have reached the highest level in its history,while Vallourec Group's new improvement plan has kept conti-nuous effective.Although since the first half of 2024,the steel tube sales volume and price of the North American market have significantly declined,the situations of the other markets have still remained relatively good.Though the operating situations of the two groups have declined year-on-year,but still are at a good level.At the same time,both groups hold a relatively optimistic attitude towards their operating performances in the second half and the full year of 2024,but also indicate that the marketing pressure on the North American market which is an important market of them is rising.
