Analysis of Deep Water Wave Conditions for Malabo Oil Tank Farm Based on Model SWAN
Deep water wave conditions serve as key factors for the stability and safety of oil tank farm,in the case, the analysis of wind wave coupling in local sea area becomes crucial to a project.Based on CCMP and CFSR data on numerical wind field,South Atlantic wave hindcasting dataset was established by using the third generation numerical model SWAN.The dataset was verified correct by comparing it with the real-measured data obtained from Bonga Station in open sea of Lagos,Nigeria and Kudu Station in open sea of Karas,Namibia.Furthermore, the deep water wave conditions in open sea of Malabo,Equatorial Guinea are analyzed, which will provide a reference for the construction of oil tank farm in future.
