Experimental Study on Value ε50 Used in Design of Pile Foundation Based on Cohesive Soil
Cohesive soil is one type of common soil that has to be considered in the foundation design and safe operation of offshore wind turbine.By analyzing structural properties and mechanical properties of the soil,a univariate test was designed based on value ε50 of cohesive soil required in the design of pile foundation of offshore wind turbine, which produced the effect of pre-consolidation on unconsolidated and undrained shear test of cohesive soil.It was found that the back-analysis result of test pile is more consistent with the data obtained from the triaxial shear test subject to pre-consolidation of the sample under a certain pressure.Theoretical analysis was carried out for the test method, which led to a certain law of value ε50 based on undisturbed soil sample, and some proposals for the test methods.
