Optimum Design of a Large Land Formation and Foundation Treatment Works
The execution of a large land formation and foundation treatment works requires the assistance in waterborne operation,but the water depth conditions in some areas do not meet the draft requirements of construction ships.In addition,the disposal of dredged earthworks is also a problem to solve during construction.In the stage of detailed design,an optimized zoning design was carried out based on the combination of engineering geological characteristics and local conditions.The comprehensive study of original mud surface elevation,overall thickness of soft soil layer,and post-construction settlement requirements led to reasonable layout of dredger-filled area as well as refined land formation zones.The optimum plan applies to the land reclamation and foundation treatment within the range of this bid section,and also provides a certain reference for other local land reclamation works.
