Brief Analysis for Applicability of Three Types of Dredgers in Dredging Works
Dredging works is an important part of port construction,characterized with high investment amount and long construction period.The selection of dredgers has a significant impact on construction quality and cost control.In dredging works,the most common dredgers include cutter suction dredger,grab dredger,and trailing suction dredger.At present,highly approved theoretical researches have been made for the construction technologies of the above vessels in China,but there is relatively little research on the investment costs and horizontally comparative argumentation.A brief introduction to the optimum plan determined by analyzing dredging duration,construction cost,and applicability of the above dredgers may provide a certain technical reference for similar projects.
