Study on Terminal Operating Rate Based on Dynamic Mooring Test
The operating rate is an important indicator for analyzing and optimizing the layout of a terminal, and measuring its throughput capacity. In overseas projects, the Clients usually put forward high requirements for the accuracy of calculating terminal operating rate according to the needs of production and operation.Since the traditional method of annual operating days cannot lead to an accurate operating rate covering the terminals in the area significantly characterized with long period wave and monsoon,a new analysis method is put forward on the basis of dynamic mooring test of ships. The above method is used to analyze the ancillary coal terminal of an overseas power plant. The results show accurate terminal operating rates per annum and month, which provides a quantitative indicator basis for rational design plan.In the case, the method can serve as an effective way and optimization orientation for guiding engineering design and reducing engineering investment.
