Study on Relationship between Slot Wall Necking of Concrete Diaphragm Wall and Groundwater Level
Based on the study on groundwater level and seepage path of concrete diaphragm wall,an analysis is carried out for the influence of such factors as groundwater level and seepage path of silty fine sand, muddy silty clay and sand layers in coastal area on the formation and mud concentration of concrete diaphragm wall, especially the slot wall necking after the formation of concrete diaphragm wall in coastal area.Dewatering wells and other dewatering/drainage measures are adopted to prevent rising and falling tides from groundwater level, which ensures mud concentration during construction process. In addition, the application of ultrasonic perpendicularity detection is an effective solution to the problem of slot necking during and after the formation of concrete diaphragm wall, which has important guiding significance for similar projects in the future.
