Analysis for Stability of Unsaturated Soil Slope under rainfall infiltration
At present, slope stability is a hot topic related to geotechnic engineering, and a lot of researches have been carried out in China and abroad, which lead to some significant achievements. However, most of these researches are subject to saturated soil slope. In general, the surface of slope is mostly covered with unsaturated soil, due to the continued rainfall and evaporation for a long time, the landslides caused by rainfall infiltration have brought increasingly serious engineering hazards. The curves of soil water characteristics subject to the difference in suction path and stress state serve as model functions to simulate the changes in the suction distributed within the range of unsaturated soil slope under the condition of rainfall infiltration.Furthermore, the stability of unsaturated soil slope subject to rainfall infiltration is analyzed, which produces the law of change in slope stability caused by rainfall, and provides a reference for landslide prediction and control.
