Renovation and Application of Large Span Portal Crane in a Confined Space within Wide Foundation Pit
Portal crane is widely used in many deep foundation pit projects due to its reasonable structure,safe and reliable performances,high stability and adaptability.Based on the construction of wide deep foundation pits at heavy traffic sections in cities,two vertical transportation modes were proposed in view of the complex surrounding environment,narrow space and large amount of lifting work involving in the construction of foundation pits.By comprehensive comparison and selection of plans,the portal cranes with a span of 62 m applied.Its'renovation design,load analysis and stress checking calculation results met the requirements.After the field erection and use,the related control points were summarized,which served as a certain reference for similar engineering design based on restricted space.
