Discussion on the research on the convex bending scheme of an inland waterway improvement project
Based on actual engineering cases,in order to determine the convex bending scheme at the intersection of two channels with large steering angles, this paper predicts and analyzes the changes of water and sand conditions in each scheme on the basis of scale demonstration according to the specifications and combined with mathematical models. After cutting, the overall erosion and silting tendency of the engineering river section did not change significantly, and the amount of dredging increased accordingly with the increase of the digging depth and dredging area in the river section near the bend, but the overall backsilting intensity was not large. The cross-flow is significantly reduced, the navigation conditions of the curved channel are improved, the turning radius of the ship is larger, and the navigation vision is wider, which is conducive to ship maneuvering and navigation safety. The cutting project has been implemented in accordance with the recommended and optimized scheme in this article, which can be used for reference and reference of similar projects.
