Research on compressive strength testing of concrete blocks for waterway revetment in waterway engineering
The concrete block for river bank protection in water conservancy construction is the basic structure for safety protection in water conservancy construction projects. However, currently, there is no direct reference specification or standard for its compressive strength testing, quality testing, and control methods. In traditional detection methods, such as using equal density vibration molding method and drilling and coring method,it can no longer meet the current requirements. The solid cube experimental method proposed in this article combines the realism and timeliness of functional sampling, the compatibility between sample and block molding, the compactness and curing conditions, and is similar to traditional wet concrete specimen preparation methods. The experimental data obtained from this can better reflect the actual strength of the block, which has a certain degree of rationality and universality. This method is suitable for strength testing of dry concrete blocks of different specifications and types, and has good practical and promotional value.
