Study on Safety and Stability of Suspended Double-Row Steel Sheet Pile Structure on Bank Slope
In the process of side slope excavation,it is particularly important to calculate the stability of the supporting structure, which will ensure a stable bank slope.Based on the ancillary wharf phase 1 project of Huarong coal rail-water intermodal transportation, storage and distribution base, the suspended double-row steel sheet pile structure was defined to be equivalent to a gravity retaining wall, and then the structure was calculated and derived by using mathematical formulas from the aspects of overall anti-slip stability, overall anti-overturning stability and base stress, which produced the the evaluation of structure safety and stability. The research results show the anti-slip stability coefficient at 1.49,which is greater than the lower limit at 1.3 in the specification;the anti-overturning stability coefficient at 1.63,which is greater than the lower limit at 1.6 in the specification and ensures a safe structure;the maximum compressive stress at the bottom of the structure being less than the allowable bearing capacity of the foundation, which meets the requirements in the specification. However, the eccentric distance of the resultant force shall be lowered in time to prevent the wall from tilting too much.
