Numerical Analysis of the Impact of Different Segmental Lengths of Prefabricated Pipe Piles on Pile Driving
Prefabricated pipe piles,as a type of reinforced concrete pile with reliable quality, convenient construction, controllable production cycle, and good compressive capacity, are widely used in the construction of soft foundation projects in the coastal areas.Due to the limitations of the height and lifting weight of the pile driver during the construction of prefabricated pipe piles,it is necessary to drive them in sections during the construction process. For the same type of pile driving machinery, the initial penetration of prefabricated pipe piles will have different effects when driving prefabricated pipe piles of different lengths. The coastal areas of Tianjin are mostly filled with hydraulic fill, and the bearing capacity of the surface soil of the stratum is relatively low,so pile sliding is prone to occur during the construction of prefabricated pipe piles. This article aims to simulate and analyze the impact of different segment lengths on the construction of pipe piles using GRLWEAP software, and provide reference for the selection of segment lengths in the construction process of prefabricated pipe piles by combining with the statistics of the construction of prefabricated pipe piles in a project.
