Influence of Spacing of Plastic Drain Bands on Soft Base Improvement Cost
The cost of soft base improvement based on vacuum preloading changes with the difference in the spacing of drain bands,which mainly covers the material cost of plastic drain bands,construction cost and vacuuming cost.In view of a great impact on the construction cost by the spacing of drain bands,the soft base improvement method of vacuum preloading was analyzed,especially the spacing of drain bands.Under the premise that the use requirements,geological parameters,the material and construction cost of plastic drain bands,and vacuuming cost are known,the quota pricing method was used to compare the reinforcing costs under the difference in the spacing of drain bands in order to deduce the spacing value in the most economical design plan.
