Determination of chloride ion content in concrete using potentiometric titration method and analysis of its influencing factors
Chloride ions are the main cause of steel corrosion and an important factor affecting the durability of reinforced concrete structures. The Woerhad method used in the concrete construction specifications for water transportation engineering to detect the total chloride ion content of concrete is not ideal in terms of repeatability and reproducibility of the test results. This article draws on the experimental detection method of chloride ion content in admixtures and uses the potentiometric titration method to detect the total chloride ion content of hardened concrete, obtaining relatively ideal test results. And factors that may affect the test results, such as sample soaking time and concrete age, were analyzed.
