Variation of Soil Nutrient Content under Different Land-uses of Xinyuan in Xinjiang
The indexes of soil nutrients, including alkali nitrogen, available phosphorus, available potassium, organic matter,pH and trace elements (Iron,Manganese,Copper,Zinc),were measured and soil quality under different land-use types were analyzed based on the evaluation index of soil quality. The results showed that the soil nutrient contents in farmland changed more significantly than any other land-use types.Variation coefficient of available phosphorus under different land-use types was the greatest while the variation coefficient of pH was the smallest. The content of zinc in woodland soil was higher than any other land-use types.Indexes of soil quality were as follows:grassland (0.647)> farmland (0.616)>water-land(0.575)>the forest(0.555)> the unused-land(0.319).The research of soil nutrients variation can provide the basic guidelines for practical land use management and adjustment, soil protection and sustainable development.
