Effects of Soil Moisture and Cotton Photosynthetic Characteristics under Different Irrigation Methods
In order to investigate the effects of different irrigation methods on the soil moisture and characteristics of the photosynthesis light-response curve in the full-boll stage of cotton,test-pit experiments were set under three irrigation methods, the soil moisture was measured by PR2,the weak light region was defined by the decrease pointof light energy utilization curve, and photosynthesis light-response curve was fitted by modified rectangular hyperbola mode. The results showed that, the maximum wetted soil volume was from mulched drip irrigation, the wetted soil volume from moistube-irrigation had a more uniform distribution of soil moisture than underground drip irrigation;the defined weak light region was larger than the traditional;the correlation degree of fitted result of modified rectangular hyperbola mode was relatively high, and photosynthetic parameterssimulated were closed to measured;the maximum net photosynthesis rate of moistube-irrigation was 69.6% of mulched drip irrigation treatment, and 88.1% of underground drip irrigation treatment, when the consumption of irrigation water greatly reduced. So moistube-irrigation has great potential to saving water.
