Based on the pragmatic observation of the term"aesthetic education"in the current society,this paper explores the relationship between"aesthetic education"in the social context and the teaching practice of"social aesthetic education"in higher art colleges.Through the historical evolution of the art education major of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and the exploration of teaching practice in the direction of social aesthetic education,this paper analyzes the understanding of"aesthetic education"and the formation of knowledge mutual covenant among social organizations,individuals and colleges.On this basis,this paper proposes that when promoting the education and teaching of"social aesthetic education"and participating in related social projects,higher art colleges should fully consider the close connection between academic knowledge,social acceptance and professional guidance.Through the pragmatic discussion of the concept of"aesthetic education",it is conducive to the construction of domain knowledge and the exploration of potential.In this way,we can better integrate professional knowledge with the actual needs of society so as to cultivate talents with both artistic literacy and social understanding and practical ability,and contribute to the cultural development of society.
