Rural aesthetic education is not only the need of the times,but also the orientation of the future.This paper forms a holistic understanding of rural aesthetic education in China in the new era by establishing the historical vision of rural aesthetic education to achieve an all-round scan of the practice of rural aesthetic education in China.It redefines the concept and connotation of rural aesthetic education,seeks ways and means to carry the spirit of Chinese aesthetic education,analyzes typical cases of rural aesthetic education in China,and explores the future approaches.
