Analysis of the Removal Effect of Precipitation on Particulate Matter in Dalian City
Based on the concentration of particulate matter and precipitation data in Dalian, the removal effect of precipitation on particulate matter was studied from multiple perspectives such as precipitation grade, precipitation duration, precipitation in-tensity,and initial concentration of particulate matter, using statistical analysis, correlation analysis, and other methods. At the same time,a typical precipitation process was taken as an example to analyze the effect of precipitation on particulate matter in detail. The results showed that:compared to non rainy days, the concentrations of PM10 and PM2.5 on rainy days decreased by 40.4%and 42.6%.The concentration of pollutants decreased with increasing precipitation grade.Moderate rain and below had a more significant effect on the removal of PM10,while heavy rain and above had a more significant effect on the removal of PM2.5.The removal effect was best when the precipitation intensity was higher than 7.6 mm/h.The cleaning rate of particulate matter was higher when the precipitation duration was more than 4 hours. Before and after precipitation, the concentration chan-ges of particulate matter could be divided into stages of growth, removal, stabilization, and recovery. When the precipitation in-tensity was low and the initial concentration of particulate matter was also low,the cleaning rate tended to be less than 0.
