Characteristics of Water-soluble Organic Carbon Pollution in PM2.5 in Beijing
315 samples of fine particulate matter(PM2.5)were collected to study the characteristics and sources of water-soluble organic carbon(WSOC)in atmospheric aerosols over Beijing throughout 2019.The results showed that the average mass concentration of WSOC in Beijing urban area in 2019 was 4.58 μg/m3,with a concentration range of 0.50~23.87 μg/m3.The mass concentration of WSOC showed significant seasonal differences,in descending order:winter>autumn>spring>summer. The results of correlation analysis showed that the primary and secondary sources were affected by both in summer and autumn, but the primary sources were more affected in spring and winter, and the secondary sources were more affected in summer and autumn than in spring and winter.WSOC is affected by coal burning in winter.
