Through the analysis of the radiation environment supervision status of coal development in Xinjiang and the radia-tion safety supervision status of mineral resources development in China,the existing problems of radiation environment super-vision in Xinjiang are discussed,and the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward:historical data on coal resources in Xinjiang should be collected and analyzed,as well as on-site investigation of typical enterprises of coal min-ing and separation processes should be conducted;Based on the problems existing in the use of the standard,and in accord-ance with the radiation safety supervision requirements for the development and utilization of associated radioactive min-eral re-sources in China,"Limit of natural radionuclides in the exploitation of coal resources"should be revised as soon as possible.
