Disciplinary Positioning of Trade Union Studies:Dispute,Boundary and Reinterpretation
For a long time, there has been a lot of controversies in the academic circle on the disciplinary positioning of trade union studies, which has formed three different viewpoints,"three-level disciplines(research direction)theory","two-level disciplines theory"and"interdisciplinary theory".However, these views have not solved the problem of ambiguous disciplinary positioning of trade union studies. An important cause of the fuzzy subject orientation is the fuzzy subject boundary. There is a clear boundary between trade union studies and related disciplines, especially between Marxist theory. As the research object, research content, research method and value of trade union studies cannot be carried completely by other disciplines, and trade union studies show the characteristics of interdisciplinary and new fields, the discipline of trade union studies needs independent development and the"dependency"strategy has drawbacks,so the discipline of trade union studies should be positioned as an independent emerging cross-level discipline in the category of law.
