A New Issue In Western Planning:Community Food System
Community food system is a new issue in western urban planning study. In light of review of decades of food research in western urban planning, the paper addresses urban planning's ignorance on this point, the food issue's significance and its value, and argues the necessity of planning action on the food issue based on analysis of community food system problems. The paper concludes the advantage, initiative, mission, and important issues of planning action on the food issue. The paper finally addresses planning's role in community food system.
