The Concept and Approach of Urban Renewal Special Planning Compilation of Mega-city:The Example of Zhengzhou
Mega-cities have entered the stage of urban redevelopment and have carried out urban renewal action with the deepening of China's urbanization.Urban renewal planning shall play the role of strategic guidance,rigid control,and collaborative governance in the high quality development of mega-cities.The functional role,basic characters,and outstanding issues of urban renewal special planning in the new era are analyzed,and it is argued that urban renewal special planning shall strengthen its roles in strategic leading,implementation and governance,and overall integration.The concepts and approaches of urban renewal special planning compilation are discussed with Zhengzhou as an example.
