Fabric design and trial weaving based on a series of Chinese character patterns
With the continuous expansion of China's international influence,as a carrier of Chinese culture,Chinese characters are widely used in fabric design.The patterns of Chinese characters were studied,and the three characters"Shan","Miao"and"Gu"as inspiration were used for fabric design.Fabric simulation was completed by using textile CAD software and combining with colored yarn arrangement.The trial weaving was conducted on a semi-automatic sample loom.The fabric pattern combines traditional Chinese culture and modern aesthetics has unique ethnic characteristics,and providing new concepts and reference value for fabric design.
