Determination of Sterol content in textiles by HPLC
The HPLC analysis conditions of three types of main components of phytosterols(β-sitosterol,canola sterol,stigasterol)were determined,and the corresponding HPLC fingerprints of each type of sterols were determined according to the characteristic retention time.A method for the determination of sterols in textiles was established.The different sterols in textiles were quantified based on the fingerprint of various sterols and external standard method,and the total sterols were obtained.The precision and recovery rate of the method met the requirements of the relevant standards and could be used for the determination of sterol content in textiles.
