Image construction and evaluation of tweed products based on Kansei Engineering
The emotional evaluation of consumers is crucial for the design of clothing fabrics, and fabrics that meet consumer aesthetics are currently the focus of fabric design. In order to explore the application of sensory engineering in clothing fabrics, the organizational structure of coarse tweed fabrics was taken as the research object.A fancy twisting machine was used to spin wool large belly yarn, and different fabric organizational structures were selected to weave four types of coarse tweed fabrics. Then, the semantic analysis method in sensory engineering was used to collect sensory vocabulary, and representative vocabulary pairs were selected using expert and questionnaire methods to establish experimental sensory image word pairs.Afterwards, the Likert five level scale method was used for evaluation experiments to collect the perceived emotional vocabulary pairs of different organizational structures of woolen fabrics, quantify the emotional evaluation, and analyze the data using SPSS statistical analysis software to determine the evaluation element dimensions of woolen fabrics with different organizational structures. The differences between samples of woolen fabrics with different organizational structures were compared,in order to grasp the true intention of consumers towards woolen fabrics. The research has certain reference value for guiding subsequent design, development and production improvement.
