The Construction of Political Order in Digital Space:Digital Power,Multiple Subjects and Multi-plane Interaction
With the continuous progress of science and technology,the spatial background of international relations research is entering a new stage of the connection and integration of real space and digital space.The construction of political order in digital space has become a major issue affecting the operation of the international system.As a new field of human activities,power is still the core concept to define the relationship between subjects in digital space.Based on the control of different elements,digital power owns different functional characteristics.In the history of the evolution of digital space,different subjects such as technological community,digital enterprises and sovereign countries have promoted four rounds of digital content accumulation,thus creating the current rich and colorful forms of digital space.These subjects also share digital power in this process,so they have the key subject identity to participate in the construction of digital space order.Because multiple agents control heterogeneous digital power,the interaction of subjects in digital space is carried out in different dimensions simultaneously,forming a very complex process of multi-plane interaction.With the overwhelming power status in real space and the effective control of blocking power in the framework of digital power,the digital geopolitical agenda and digital space governance agenda promoted by sovereign countries have received widespread attention.However,as the representative of innovative ideas,the agenda for the construction of pluralistic symbiotic order continues to advance.The study of political order and related issues in digital space will become the theoretical growth point of the discipline of international relations in the context of the new space,which needs to be paid great attention to and systematic planning.
