The Rise of the Global South and the Change in Global Governance System:An Analysis of International Rules and Institutions
The Global South has greatly shaped the change in global governance system.As an integrated component of contemporary international order,global governance system has been in a changing process,with its elements,issues and fields,and rules and institutions changing along with increasing and urgent global problems and challenges.The rise of the Global South has led to three categories of changes in global governance system,namely,in international distribution of power,in international interactions,and in rules and institutions.The Global South has contributed to the creation of a number of new principles,rules and norms on the one hand,and to the foundation of a lot of new institutions on the other.These new rules and institutions display the importance,role,and trend of the Global South in the process of changes in global governance system.
