The Role of Exchanges and Mutual Learning among Civilizations in Building a China-Arab Community with a Shared Future
The failure of global governance,the disorder of the global order,and the loss of global trust are the great crises and challenges facing the world today.Global governance in the new era requires a cultural order of pluralistic coexistence,and the key path lies in dialogue,exchange and mutual learning among civilizations.The exchange and mutual learning of civilizations is China's basic position on dealing with the relationship between different civilizations,and is an original theory proposed by China on building a new type of civilization relationship.As a practice of world communication,the exchange and mutual learning of civilizations contains rich connotations of international political sociology.The theoretical sorting out of it will help to better understand the unique role of this concept in exploring the paradigm of world civilization communication.Arab countries are the first group of countries in the world to jointly issue a joint statement with China on practicing the global civilization initiative,providing experience and exploration for the exchange and mutual learning of civilizations.This article establishes three analytical perspectives under the theory of international political sociology in order to examine the realistic basis of the exchange and mutual learning of civilizations between China and Arab countries.The first is benign interaction between countries,the second is the expectations and international responsibilities of the international community,and the third is collective identity and active social learning.At present,in order to grasp and lead the high-level development of China-Arab relations from the global strategic height and the direction of accelerated evolution of major changes,it is necessary to clarify the dialectical relationship between the exchange and mutual learning of civilizations and the construction of a China-Arab community with a shared future.We should attach importance to the cultural endogenous driving force,inclusive connotation,value recognition consensus and moral soft power provided by the exchange and mutual learning of civilizations for the construction of a China-Arab community with a shared future.In specific practice,China and Arab countries should attach importance to the important influence of value consensus,positive cognition,cultural subjectivity and other aspects formed by the exchange and mutual learning of civilizations.At the same time,they should attach importance to the role of young people as the main force in the China-Arab civilization dialogue,and actively promote the building of a global community with shared future with the grand historical perspective and the new civilization perspective.
