It has become a common consensus of the international community to strengthen global cooperation to address the climate change challenges,and China plays a crucial and irreplaceable role in global climate governance.The 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change(UNFCCC)has intensively reflected the current new situation and challenges of global climate governance.To lead in global climate governance and advance green and low-carbon transition,China must balance both international and domestic situations,strengthen international cooperation based on the principle of"common but differentiated responsibilities",establish a multi-player governance mechanism involving the State,enterprises and the public,promote the green and low-carbon energy transition in an orderly manner,coordinate the application of policy tools of well-functioning governments and efficient markets,strengthen the essential and strategic role of education,science and technology and talent,develop the role of green finance to provide guarantee and fill the gaps in technology,talent and financing.
