Analysis of China's Systematic Approach against US Economic Sanctions
Economic sanction is an important vehicle for a country to deal with international relations.China has frequently encountered various economic sanctions imposed by several other countries in recent years,and the United States,in particular,has even launched targeted economic sanctions against China,threatening the latter's national security,economic development and other relevant interests.China should,based on cautious evaluation of its own advantages and relying on its relatively strong national strength and resilience against sanctions,retain its composure,draw on valuable experiences of other countries in dealing with such sanctions and explore a comprehensive and systematic approach;it should take comprehensive measures on both domestic and overseas fronts,and alternatively employ economic,legal and diplomatic methods.While effectively coping with sanctions from the United States,China has also contributed to the international community rich experiences of incorporating anti-sanctions practices into international law-based framework,fully fulfilling its international responsibility as a major player.
