China-Africa development cooperation is a key arena for China s participation in global development governance.Amid the current challenges facing global development governance, adjusting and strengthening partnerships with African countries from the perspective of developing countries'autonomy is of great significance for the sustainable advancement of China-Africa development cooperation.Given the limitations of Western practices and research on the autonomy of aid recipients,it is necessary to propose a development-oriented concept and analytical framework of autonomy that go beyond the traditional aid paradigm.Against the backdrop of the Global Development Initiative,China can advance sustainable China-Africa development cooperation through three main perspectives:promoting the transformation of the international development system, enhancing the autonomy of developing countries, and strengthening the establishment of institutions and systems to promote its own development.
