Research on New Cutting Tool Technology for New High-strength Titanium Alloy
In view of the problems such as low processing efficiency and short tool life in the actual processing of aer-ospace structural parts made of TB18 material,a comparative test on cutting process of TB18 material and general titanium alloy materials are carried out.The key factors affecting the cutting performance of the tool are analyzed.Combined with specific processing needs,through the improvement of typical tool selection,development of new tools and optimization of cutting parameters,the processing efficiency of TB18 is improved and the service life of the tool is extended.
