The research status and development trend of modified BN in oil-based cutting fluid and water-based cut-ting fluid in recent years are summarized,and its application trend and technical difficulties are analyzed and discussed.Im-proving the dispersion effect of BN in liquid lubricant system,continuously reducing the cost of lubricating fluid and pursu-ing green preparation technology will be the main development direction in the future.
