Simulation and Process Research of Cutting Strategy of Aluminum Alloy Thin-walled Bars Based on Finite Element Analysis
Thin-walled bars of aluminum alloy are typical features of missile computer structures, which are simple in structure, but have poor overall rigidity, and are easy to deform in processing, affecting the machining accuracy of work-piece.In order to rationally select the cutting strategy,ABAQUS is used to simulate the milling process of aluminum alloy thin-walled bars by finite element simulation. The milling force and the deformation of workpiece are analyzed under differ-ent cutting strategies. At the same time, the control experimental group is designed for test cutting verification, and the de-formation under different cutting strategies is measured by three-coordinate measuring instrument, which verifies the correct-ness of the simulation analysis results.
