Prediction of Helical Groove Sections of Milling Cutter Based on Point Clouds
Based on the idea of point cloud discreteness,the milling cutter bar stock is discretized into a point cloud set,the grinding wheel is simplified to a two-dimensional model of rotary surface and center vector expression,a grinding and excision model is establised to determine whether the point cloud of bar stock section and the grinding wheel rotating surface are contained,and the relevant parameters of spiral groove by using the predicted cross-section point set is calculat-ed.Establish the point cloud removal process of actual simulated grinding by using OCC,and realize the display of the cross-section of the predicted spiral groove and the accurate calculation of structural parameters.By changing the position parameters of the grinding wheel structure,give the change law of the relevant parameters of the spiral groove section is giv-en,and the results of the specific examples is displayed.
