Effect of Fiber Orientation Angle on Surface Quality of CFRP in Side Milling
In this paper,the machining defects of CFRP in the process of side milling are studied,and the expression of bevel cutting is adopted to explore the influence of fiber direction angle on the surface quality of the material from the an-gle of cutting force by means of simulation.The experimental results show that the fiber direction angle has great influence on the cutting force,the cutting force trend is Fx(0°)>Fx(45°)>Fx(135°)>Fx(90°).The surface quality of transverse fiber cutting is better than that of inverse fiber cutting,and the greater the cutting force is,the shorter the maximum burr length is,the better the surface quality is.
