Measurement Method of Over Two Pins of Straight Cylindrical Involute Splines
Spline is an important coupling part of torque transmission in engineering field.It is important to measure the key parameter of tooth thickness of spline.Therefore,a coordinate measurement method for measurement over two pins of straight cylindrical involute splines is established.The contact point coordinates are obtained based on spline tooth sur-face model,and then the measurement over two pins are analyzed.The coordinate measurement experiment of the measure-ment over two pins of the external involute spline is carried out on the spline measuring center.The measurement results of measurement over two pins are obtained.The method established can be used in fast automatic measurement of spline.
