Research on Oblique Drilling Mechanism of Femoral Neck for Clinical Application
Femoral neck fracture is a fracture between the femoral head and the base of the femur. There is a need for nail placement at different angles during internal fixation. The simulation experiment of anisotropic femoral neck material and the drilling experiment of bovine femoral bone are carried out by orthogonal experimental design scheme, aiming at studying the principle of oblique drilling of femoral neck under the condition of applying physiological saline. The variance and response surface analysis of the collected drilling axial force and temperature results are carried out,and the test results are optimized by Design-Expert software. The results show that the axial force of each angle is the lowest when the drilling parameters are n=1500r/min and f=40mm/min.When drilling exceeds 20.9°,the coolant flow rate of 40mm/min has limitations.
