Research on Influence of Cutting Parameters on Milling Force of GFRP Spiral Milling Hole
In order to study the influence of cutting parameters on the milling force of GFRP(glass fiber composite)spiral milling holes,a simulation model of GFRP spiral milling holes is established.Different cutting parameters are selected for machining simulation, and different milling forces are obtained. In order to verify the reasonable accuracy of the estab-lished simulation model,an orthogonal GFRP spiral milling experiment is conducted. The same cutting parameters as the machining simulation are selected, and multiple sets of different milling forces are obtained. The rationality of the simulation model is verified through comparative analysis of simulation and experimental results.Based on this simulation model, the effect of cutting parameters on milling forces is obtained through GFRP spiral hole milling simulation experiments. The re-sults show that the order of influence on the milling force from the largest to the smallest is the axial pitch feed u,the revo-lution speed of the tool center ω and cutting speed vc.As the cutting speed increases, the milling force first decreases and then increases, but the trend of change is small. With the rotational speed of the tool center increases, the grinding force gradually increases. As the axial feed pitch increases, milling force gradually increases.
