Method of Assembly Interference Matrix Based on Image-assisted Collision Detection
Accurate establishing of interference matrix is a crucial foundation for assembly sequence planning and path planning.Traditional methods perform collision detections for each discrete instance of part swept volume of to identify the element of interference matrix.It leads to some drawbacks like misjudging of contact parts and heavy computational load once adopting small step length.In view of image rendering,this work develops a calculation method by transforming the collision detection between part swept volume and other part as the occlusion calculation in graphic rendering.By adopting delicate rendering and depth testing conditions in OpenGL as well as distinguishing contact via pixel shape,this method is capable to identify the interference-free,contact,and collided for interference matrix elements.The calculation for spindle system validates the effectiveness of this method.
