Study on the Influence of EU's"Dual Digital Laws"on Digital Economy
The EU announced and implemented the Digital Markets Act(DMA)and Digital Services Act(DSA)in 2022,in order to prevent large-scale international service platforms from adversely affecting the Europe-an digital market and promote fair competition in the field of digital services.The fundamental goals of the EU's"dual digital laws"are the same.They all devote to promoting the prosperity and standardization of the EU's single digital market.However,the focuses of the two are different.The DMA focuses more on antitrust and promoting fair competition,while the DSA pays more attention to digital services and digital content governance.Based on the comparative analysis of the EU's"dual digital laws",the article analyzes the influence mechanism and practical effects of the two on digital economy,and focuses on exploring the inspiration on China.Finally,it is recom-mended that the Chinese government and enterprises should strive to improve the institutional system in the digital field,adapt to the new EU's"dual digital laws",expand the EU digital market,and expand other overseas markets.
