The Internal Logic,Practical Challenges and Countermeasures of China-ASEAN Economic and Trade Cooperation
China and ASEAN are each other's largest trading partners,and the two sides have carried out ex-tensive cooperation in trade,investment and finance,jointly promoting regional economic prosperity.The econom-ic and trade cooperation between China and ASEAN has a closely interconnected logic,and the two sides have pro-moted the rapid development of economic and trade relations due to factors such as deep historical ties,geographical proximity,strong economic complementarity and close political cooperation.However,the differences between the two sides in terms of industrial structure,cultural foundation,and legal system have brought certain practical chal-lenges to this cooperation.To address these challenges and ensure the sustainable development of economic and trade relations,the paper suggests that China and ASEAN should focus on deepening the free trade mechanism,strengthening investment cooperation,enhancing management collaboration and exchanges,and mitigating geopolit-ical risks.
