With oxalic acid solution of different pH values as the electrolyte and in a constant voltage mode of DC power supply,the anodizing process of AuAl2 phase alloy was carried out under the conditions of different voltage,oxidation time and temperature. The surface morphology of each sample was observed and analyzed. At the same time,an electrochemical workstation was used to detect its corrosion resistance. The results show that the surface of the alloy is composed of alumina and a small amount of gold which contribute to an improvement of the corrosion resistance. The optimal process is as follows:the oxidation for 120 s at 35 ℃,with oxalic acid solution at pH 1,under the DC voltage of 5 V.
