Investigation and Evaluation of Lake Health in the Yangtze River Delta Green Integrated Development Demonstration Zone
In Qingpu District of Shanghai, the"Blue Pearl Chain"features an intricate network of rivers and lakes, representing a typical lake area in the Yangtze River Delta Integrated Development Demonstration Zone.To comprehensively reflect the ecological environment of water bodies in the demonstration zone and establish a distinctive health assessment system for its rivers and lakes, this paper uses the"Blue Pearl Chain"as a case study.Guided by the Technical Guidelines for River and Lake Health Assessment of Shanghai(Trial)(DB31 SW/Z 001-2023),the paper evaluates river and lake health from five aspects:flow safety, scenic appeal, water cleanliness, ecological health, and social services. Results show that the health status of the"Blue Pearl Chain"lake area scored 77.89,indicating a healthy state with a relatively good regional water ecological environment;however, issues such as water quality and eutrophication remain. The findings provide a technical reference and decision-making basis for river and lake health assessments,as well as for the development and conservation efforts in the demonstration zone.
